Here is a picture of Kwintus our Friesian stallion. He is a 5 year old ster stallion who has been making a name for himself in the Friesian show world. For the last two years he has been the National Champion Jr Stallion in Hand as well as National Champion Stallion at Liberty. He isn't just a pretty face either. He has many firsts in both riding and driving. We raise Friesians and use Woody Pet in our mare and foal stalls. We also are using Woody Pet in our USDA CEM quarantine barn for imported mares. Thanks for an excellent product.
Sue and Gary, NY - Feb.2008

We really like your product for use in our horse trailer.
Mary S, OK - Aug.2007

I am located in Las Vegas and I absolutely love your product and have used it before when I lived in Oklahoma.
Amanda B, NV - Aug.2007

Got a sample from a friend. Love it.
Amy H, MO - Jul.2007

I live near Perth, Western Australia. I recently bought Woody Pet and I replaced my horses bedding with Woody Pet (as she is allergic to dust) and it has been wonderful. She has stopped coughing.
Karen L - Jul.2007

I am looking for the nearest source for your Woody Pet horse bedding product. I purchase by the pallet. Love your product.
Kathy B, MA - Jul.2007

I am down to my last 3 bags of Woody Pet. Please tell me where I can find it now. I bought enough last fall to get me up to now. I love your Woody Pet, it is the BEST!
Marianne S, NY - Jul.2007

I take care of about 19 cats and a Husky that have been injured or dumped. My Vet suggested that I use your product for litter in place of the clay stuff. I purchased your product at ... I think your product is great.
Bud B, KS - Jun.2007

I moved here last summer from NJ and always used Woody Pet for my rabbits and other small animals. It is great and cuts down on the smell a ton! I would love to find someone here that sells it as well. Thanks
Danielle, GA - Jul.2007

I learned about Woody Pet through the local rabbit rescue, Bunny Buddies. They are very protective of their rabbits, pets and fosters, and they very much like Woody Pet. They sell it to their members and provide it for free for the fosters. Thank you again for allowing me access to your information and product.
Debbie H, TX - Jul.2007

This is THE ONLY product my cat will use and it is FAR BETTER than anything available in the pet stores!! Is it possible to have the product shipped to me? I wish you all did online direct sales!!
Elle S, TX - Jun.2007

I LOVE it for my animals. I tried the Equine fresh pellets and it does not work as well, my kennel is now a mess of dust from the equine fresh. I NEED this woody pet for my dogs litter boxes. I had to purchase some Tidy cats to try out but I just don't think it will work as well.
Jessie, ND - Jun.2007

I found your product when living in California. I love it, but I am moving to Florida and would like to find a dealer where I can purchase your product. Judy F, CA - Jun.2007

A friend of mine has a Lusitano stallion and he has been having a horrible time with hives. She has tried everything....as a last resort she had the barn people strip the stall of shavings/sawdust and cleaned it thoroughly...then put in woody pet. Two days later the hives were gone!!! She is going to gradually decrease his medication and see if the woody pet is the definitive answer. We all hope so!!
Ingrid S, WA - Mar.2007

I just wanted to thank you for you product, and tell you how great it is! I have 7 indoor cats and was spending over $100 a month for feline pine, when I saw your product in my local feed and supply and it is exactly the same!!! I now spend $5 a month and my cats like it more! Thanks again for a great product!
Corrine C, PA - Nov.2006

Thank you so much for your very informative reply to my questions! I was most impressed. I love your product and have been using it for all my horses ever since first trying it a year ago for my 29 year old horse with Cushings Disease who was prone to laminitis. His comfort and joy at his new bedding is what sold me initially; now I have learned to appreciate other qualities about it as well. Grace S, NY - Nov.2006

All the other stall bedding products I've tried stain my white horses. After a few days they get a reddish brown stain from laying in the bedding. You may already know this. I believe this is important information and should be included on your package. I would like to order a pallet or two and have it delivered.
Gail Z, PA - Oct.2006

I had some experience with the Lonestar pellets. I was going to be a dealer for them until I tried them myself and realized how awful they were. I think I mentioned that I raise guinea pigs. I still have the dust from those pellets all over my caviary. What a nightmare.

I love Woody Pet - I no longer have a issue with dust with the guinea pigs OR the horses. And, there is NO comparison to shavings - these pellets are so far superior in every way to shavings. And, what you have left is pure compost - I have this all over my property now and it is all biodegradable and breaks down much faster than shavings, plus you lose so much less product when cleaning a stall, never mind that you can clean a stall in half the time. And, by the way, these pellets are excellent for foaling stalls.
Kay S, TX - Oct.2006

I have to tell you ... Woody Pet bedding is the best ever! I ran out of my last pallet so I bought the stuff called Equine Fresh. This product is NOT THE SAME as Woody Pet Bedding, no where close. As a matter of fact, I just returned 7 of the 10 bags I bought. The other product claims all sorts of things, one thing is dust free. My barn is so dusty after using just a few bags. This is what started my mission of finding Woody Pet quickly. I am so excited that I found it locally! I have been using Woody Pet now for about 5 years and would not use anything else in my barn. The other stuff just does not work. Woody Pet absorbs better, controls odor better and dust, well, what dust! Thanks for making such a great product and keep it coming!
Rebecca S, VA - Oct.2006

I was first introduced to Woody Pet Professional Pet Bedding from one our stall boarders. We saw what a difference it made in her horses' stalls. We use sand in our stalls; however some of our horses still make mud holes in their stalls, especially when they have to spend long periods of time in them. We tried traditional shavings but there is so much waste. Woody Pet really improved the quality of our stalls for our horses. And saved us money. Now all of boarders use this product. You can use Woody Pet alone or you can mix it with shavings. i prefer to use it alone.

Woody Pet has been a money saving product for us. I use less Woody Pet than I was using with shavings. Also it has improved the quality of stall area for my horses. Now my stalls stay cleaner longer. It is the best pet bedding I have found to put in my stalls.
Dianne C - Nov.2004

Just a few months ago, after a long and frustrating winter using pine shavings for my four horses' barn, we discovered the woody pet. It's just amazing how well it works. Besides saving us a lot of money, the odor from my horses urine is undetectable and the flies are not as troublesome as usual.
M. Rogers - Aug.2004

I recently started using Woody Pet because I work at our local tack store and had heard so much about this stuff from the customers and because I am the biggest skeptic around and wanted to prove them wrong I bought some for my worst horse!!! Well I followed the directions to give it a fair chance ( according to my husband direction reading is not something I do !) I put it in the stall and it looked like granola.. I say to myself this will never do ... I added water but a few hours later it looked the same . I had to go to bed........ the next day I went in the barn fully expecting to put the regular bedding in but when I opened the barn door I was hit in the face with that wonderful pine smell from only the one stall ... I ran over to the stall looked in and here was my big 17.3 gelding standing in bedding over his ankles!!!!!!! I ran back in the house like a child at Christmas telling my husband that sorcery had been performed in the barn last night because I still have no explanation for it!!!!! Now all 4 of my horses on it and I love it! I have however tried some others but there is absolutely no comparison!
Laurie, OH - May 2004

Dear folks at woody pet.
I Love your bedding. I will never use the infamous wood chips again. Woody pet has cut my work in half. Caring after 5 horses and working a 18 hr a day job is tough. It became more simplistic since using your product. everything comes up easier, no more wasting bedding, and the stalls stay dry. I did a test of my own between my brand of wood chips and woody pet. You won!!! woody pet is cheaper and lasts 2 weeks longer. saving me a lot of $$$$$. Which Id rather spend on hay and feed. So to cut this short.. Thank you!!!!
You are the GODS of Bedding, WHAT IS NEXT?

I live in Northern Connecticut and in this area winters can be very difficult. We are never quite sure what is going to be in store for us. It can be below zero and windy one day, and 60 degrees and raining the next. This winter has been no exception. During December we received record rainfall and experienced (way) below normal temperatures. I have two animals at home both share pasture turnout, and the barn has two stalls that are left open so they are able to go in and out at will. As you know, in winter if it rains after the ground has frozen, you end up with water and mud. My pasture flooded and the stalls were in terrible shape. No matter how often I cleaned them, how much lime I put down and how many bales of shavings I put in them, I could not fight the odor and dampness. I was at my wits end. I decided to research other bedding options and came across information on your product. I called my local feed store and found that they carried your products. It has been three days since I began using the Woody Pet bedding and stall deodorizer in conjunction with shavings. I am absolutely amazed at the change in the stall condition. There is NO odor in the barn. Cleaning time is cut in half due to the way in which the wet spots stay together and most important, the animals are happy. The temperature has dropped into the single digits now and they are spending twice as much time in the stalls to stay out of the wind. Even with the increased stall use, the stalls are clean, dry and warm.
In closing I would like to thank you for making this fine product available.

Juliet, Jan.2004

Thank-you for the quick response. We have 15 horses and have been dealing with ridiculously wet stalls. It seemed like no matter how much shavings or stall dry we used nothing was doing the job. My sister and I have been eyeballing your product for a while but was un-sure because of the initial set up cost. Long story short, we tried it and now Love it. Our stalls are so dry it is like it's Summertime and not to mention the odor control.

We went to the store today to buy some more and the cashier greeted us with "I see you have the best kept secret around here" she's right. Anyways, thanks for making such a great product and I am going to leave a testimonial on your website.
Sarah,Jan.2004

Thanks so much, there are 4 or 5 people at our barn that have switched to Woody Pet from shavings and all like it especially us. Our horse's hooves had been giving us fits with thrush, he is so susceptible to it and it was getting out of hand, but since we switched to your product it is virtually gone !!!!! And picking is so much easier than with the shavings words cannot express how much we like Woody Pet, it doesn't stick to his blankets and he does not get any more urine stains on his front socks either, this stuff is something else! The part I like the best is that I am not throwing out what I have paid for with the manure, only the manure, and that is great
John, Dec.2003

I have used your bedding with the wetter horses and I love it. I had tried another brand and it just wasn't the same. I had to strip the stall and start over with your product. Thank you
Shannon, Nov.2003

Last Friday I purchased 14 bags of WoodyPet and I was sold by its ability within the first 24 hours. Now it has been 6 days and I LOVE IT. At first I was a little apprehensive because I have only been able to put 14 bags of shavings in the back of my truck...hence why I ordered 14. When it took up such a small area I thought I had been had by false advertising. Now I find that I will be a loyal customer from now on. Thank you.

Donna, MO - Oct.2003

You have no idea how much $$ Woody Pet has saved me! Well, you probably do. I've been buying Pine Fresh at $9.50 per 20 lb bag, and going through 40 pounds a week. Have you ever given thought to attending cat shows in order to promote/sell your product and recruit dealers? We have one coming up really soon (2 weeks) and you could sell a TON of this there. The other wood pellet litter that is sometimes at this show sells for $14.00 per 40 pounds if multiple bags are purchased.
I think it would be a great opportunity for you! I"ve already turned my friends on to the product but there are many people to reach.
Traci J - Oct.2003

I swear I have the most disgusting horse in the world. I used to have to strip his stable twice a week. I found Woodypet and have replaced all the bedding in all my stables. Now I can muck out all six stables on my own in record time and the amount of waste removed is less than half. It is saving me heaps as I don't have to employ anyone anymore ....... and I'm in a wheelchair.

My husband and I own and operate an equine facility in west-central Indiana. Although we provide a myriad of services, our focus is boarding and training. We may not have multi-million dollar horses in our barn but nonetheless, their comfort and health are paramount. I am another skeptic who waited too long to try your product. Last Friday, July 11th, I purchased 6 bags of Woody Pet and decided to test it on one of the(wettest) mares we have here in training. I followed the instructions; took out the old bedding, then replaced the shavings with 4 bags of WP. I am happy to report that the mare’s stall is the driest in the barn. I must tell you that we pride ourselves on many things ---cleanliness of our facility being one of them, and even using shavings we are complimented on our "no-odor" barn...BUT I find your product to be a vast improvement. I am convinced that after the initial purchase, it will be cost effective as well as labor saving. I wish I had decided to use it sooner; a client's horse with heaves would have been much more comfortable. All of our stalls will now be bedded with Woody Pet.

A final word -- please do not change your manufacturing methods; this is one product that can stand up to its claims.

Thank you,

C. Chambers, Turning Point Equine Center - Jul.2003

I received the information you sent; thank you so much for resending it to ensure I did indeed receive it.

Thanks, also, for such a WONDERFUL product! I cannot tell you how much we appreciate Woody Pet and this is before we acquire yet another kitty (right now, we only have one but we will have another in a couple more weeks). One of my biggest complaints about cats is the litter box, however, with Woody Pet, this issue has been taken care of.

Thanks again,
Tammy - May 2003

A while back I e-mailed you to ask about Woody Pet for my pet bunny. I did purchase the product and I have to say it is fantastic!!!! It has totally solved my problem with a solid bottom cage. Thank you so much. I will recommend your product to anyone I know with small pets. I know this will not make or break your business, as I am sure most of your customers have large animals with large needs. I just wanted to let you know that I think it is great.

Carolee H, NY - May 2003

It has been a year since I heard about your product. I tired to find it then but it was not available locally. Finally I have gotten to try it as Southern States now carries it. I love it. I bought several bags after our torrential rains because one of my stalls had flooded. The Woody Pet absorbed all the water and then, when the rains stopped, I stripped that out and re-bedded with Woody Pet. I now use it in both stalls. It saves so much work! No more heavy shavings :)

Now, I have a few requests. First, please make sure Southern States continues to stock the product. A sales clerk tried to tell me that no one was buying it. Second, please make an ergonomic version of your fork. I have a regular fork in an ergonomic version and it really helps my back. I bet the rest of your customers would like it too.

I have recommended Woody Pet to my horse friends, my trainer, and my horse club (Rockville, VA chapter of Old Peoples' Riding Club). It's a great product.

Sincerely,

Katherine H. - May 2003

Thank you so much for your response! I still can't thank your company enough for finding such a terrific solution to horseman's greatest challenge! I will never put anything else in my horses stalls!!

Thanks again,

Hi, I just purchased woody pet and put it in my stalls immediately to try it. I have 3 fillies I stall on some days and they would become a horrible mess when I would use pine shavings or hay. The mess was awful, and smelly, needless to say the white on my fillies wasn't white anymore, and my new barn was starting to smell like urine!!! I stalled my filly's overnight on the woody pet shavings just to see what it would do. I must say: "I AM IMPRESSED!" I am going today and buy 20 more bags. I have a mare that is due to foal soon, and I plan on using woody pet for the brooding pen. It is sterile and stays dry and clean. The clean up time in my filly's stalls was cut in 1/2, and the clean up was easy. I plan on buying one of the forks to use also. Thanks Woody Pet for making my love for horses even lovelier!

Thanks Woody Pet!

I went to TSC in Mansfield and got 40 bags. We used it last year and loved it. Yes, it saves on a lot of stall cleaning and smell. We have five horses and it saves a lot of time also. Thank-you for inventing Woodypet.

P.S. and it is easy to handle!!!!!

Hi Dave,

I don't know if you'll remember me from last fall, but I had the two stall mattresses shipped up to Yellowknife. Just wanted to let you know that I am delighted with this system! We are in the deep freeze here (-37 this morning), and the stall mattress keeps my horse's floor in our unheated barn above zero - the water that splashes from his bucket doesn't freeze on it as it does with the other stalls. In addition, the continuous surface means no urine seeps down between the mats, so my horse isn't breathing ammonia in his stall, as he used to be. It seems to take less bedding, as well, to keep his stall clean. I wish all the horses had stall mattresses, and wanted to say thanks for a great product!

January 20, 2003

I have a petsmart right down the street but I would rather drive 30 minutes away to the Tractor Supply company to get Woody Pet! What a great Product! We have 5 Guinea Pigs, 1 hamster, 1 rat and a Chinchilla. I have used the alpine and the gray biodegradable paper litter....EWE is all I can say. I purchased Woody Pet because I was visiting the store and they had no other litter at the time. I was very skeptical however after the first try, I was sold. It controls odor and lasts longer than the conventional litter. I can also use a shopvac to clean the cage and this saves my back from lifting and dumping heavy cages.

I love my children and they love their pets. Woody Pet has made it easier for me to love them too.

Thanks!

Sally Murach

Why haven't I been using Woody pet all along? My local TSC was out of shavings and I read the Woody Pet bag....still skeptical I came online and read all the reviews on this web page and others. Everything I read sounded wonderful, so I purchased 6 bags of Woody Pet. I have one horse right now in a 10 x 10 stall. She is turned out most days. This bedding is amazing. It took almost 2 weeks for me to reach the proper moisture point since she is not stalled constantly. My stall cleaning time is a fraction of what it was with shavings and in 2 weeks I have only made 2 trips to the manure pile with the wheelbarrow! I am a Veterinarian so I was concerned about the health aspects of a bedding switch. It cushions well, isn't dusty, she doesn't eat it and her feet look fabulous. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

Just got back from taking care of my 2 horses. I open up one of my woodypet bags, saw your address and decided to email you.. I just want to tell you, I LOVE YOU PRODUCT.... All of these years I used straw, and everyday had to clean out wet, dirty straw, had horses with manure on them, manure on me after cleaning out these stalls....... just had a mess and hated it. A local man sells horse products,Jim Braunbeck, Fombell, Pennsylvania..... carries the woodypet, told me about how great it is, was a little hesitant at first, but now am hooked. Only takes me minutes to clean out stalls, have happy clean horses, cheaper than straw, and the most important thing is how happy I am...! Telling everyone that I know who has horses, about your product.

Sincerely, A Happy Customer...
Roxann Young

December 11, 2002

Just want you to know how extremely pleased I am with your product! Wish I'd switched to it two years ago when I got my horse - I would have saved a fortune in shavings cost! I stripped stall and put in 5 bags and let her fluff! Took two weeks to get the uniform moisture level (my horse is in only at night.) Instead of 1 to 2 muck buckets out per day, I was taking out 1/4!! The last two days, I have started taking out the saturated wet bedding (still only about 1/3 a muck bucket) and mixing in handfuls of woody pet...I'm now waiting to see what happens when they fluff. The best part is the thick, cushiony stall my mare has been enjoying - she seems to be resting better at night.

Sincerely,
Sandra S.
A happy customer!

December 10, 2002

I have tried your bedding and love it! it has made a big difference in the 4 stalls I have tried it in. When my 23 stall show barn is completed I will be using nothing but woody pet bedding.

Thanks so much, Tamara

December 6, 2002

I have been using Woodypet with my three horses for the past 18 months. Two of my horses can trash a stall an hour after it's been cleaned. By reducing my bedding costs over 40% Woodypet has enabled me to afford, barely, my horses. As two of my horses are rescued thoroughbreds who probably would have ended up in dog food cans keeping them is very important to me.

Thank you,
Jeff Smith

December 3, 2002

Hi Dave,

Woody Pet is A- Number -One in my book. Cages are dry, no odor, no dust, going on a week now, have not had to clean. It saves me much time, and keeps my little guys ( pet rats) dry and comfortable. I will recommend it to all my friends! Great product, keep up the good work!

Lindsay

November 28, 2002

This is my third year of using Woody Pet. I would not want to use anything else in my horse stalls - it is cleaner, drier, and less odor, and less to clean out. A finer tine fork is a great idea - some of the manure gets broken into small pieces and falls out of my fork. Thanks for a great product!

Carl Anthony

October 23, 2002

I purchased 10 bags of your products last Friday, 6 of which I put down in the stall over rubber mats. Within minutes the barn smelled clean. My 2 year old gelding was a mess every morning, between the wet and the manure all over him it was awful he was a mess. Since using your product no more wet horse, wet stalls, and the ammonia and manure smell is gone.

Everyone who comes to my barn who knows what a slob Toby (the gelding) is can't believe the difference. My morning chore time is cut in half, leaving more time just to be with him.

Connie from Bay Creek Stables was so informative on the product and answered all my questions.

Thanks again,
Linda

To Whom It May Concern,

In reading your testimonials I noticed they are ALL are in regards to horses. I want to pass on to you and to all rabbit breeders how fantastic of a product this is for rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and other small pets.

I have been fortunate to have a dealer within driving distance and I could not be more pleased. This product cuts my time in half when it comes to cleaning cages and virtually eliminates odors. . All twenty plus rabbits are kept in a spare room in my house and when I have company I always hear in amazement, "How do you make it so they don't smell"? That is simple, "Woody Pet".

Until recently, however, I never knew to what depth I could count on Woody Pet. When I had to leave unexpectedly for a family emergency my husband became in charge of taking care of my pets. I returned 4 days later, and expecting the worst walked down the hall to find I could not smell any odor, still. I then figured he had cleaned the cages. I was amazed to find he had not. The Woody Pet kept absorbing and hiding the order even with no cleanings for four days.

Thank you for such a great product. I can honesty tell people what a wonderful product it is and know I am being truthful.

Hi Dave,

The shipment arrived fine after all. We have used it in half our stalls this week and our stable girl loves it too. We can clean three times the number of stalls in the same amount of muck bucket or spreader space compared to Magnum, it seems to be fluffier once wetted and needs less moisture to fluff up...it is lighter in color and easier to pick a stall.

Thanks
Kay

Dear Mike, just an update of Woodypet Horse Bedding and the Wayne Co. NY fair. Our 4H horse club ,"Stars Of Christmas Hill" participated in a week long competition. part of the competition involved herdsmanship. For a solid week the kids had to maintain a clean horse stall from 7am inspection to 8pm inspection. Needless to say we decided to use Woodypet as our bedding while everyone else used traditional bagged shavings. At the end of a very long week and in spite of day time temperatures averaging 85 degrees plus, my daughter took 1st place. I will forward pictures . My daughter feels strongly that Woodypet gave her the edge and the judges took notice of a clean white stall, smelling sweet for a solid week. Thank you again for a great product!!!

Sincerely H Bernard

I enjoy this product very much. I have a horse with asthma/allergies that sneezed and coughed constantly and now he is a 20 year old going on 5 He is very active now. We considered putting him down until this product came along, it is a blessing for him and for me. Thank you!!!

To whoever handles sales:

First let me say congratulations on your product and the service you provide here in Victoria. I met your rep Gaye at the Melbourne 3DE a few months ago and was amused and interested with her display and explanation of the unusual product she had. (By the way not many people managed to leave there without meeting her happy smile and witty demo).

Convinced that my horses could "not survive on any other bedding" I conceded and gave her a call 3 weeks ago. Within 1 day my horses were standing on this new age bedding. Gay came and helped us set up 4 stalls in around 20 minutes and we were very impressed. It has now been 3 weeks and we are yet to add any of the remaining 10 bags and plan to take them with us when we do the show circuit. Our stable area has taken on a clean smell and our garden is happier with the waste.

We will continue using Woody Pet as it has proven to us that everything we have been told is correct.

Another happy user from Aussie.

I foaled both of my QH mares on your bedding this year and was THRILLED with the results. The stalls stayed soooo much cleaner, with less dust, mess, odor and waste to dispose of. I've always used straw for the first couple of weeks after foaling, and just dread having to clean those stalls. YUCK! It seems like I ended up completely stripping the stall at least once a day, and my compost pile grew exponentially! So, you can see why I was so happy with the Woody Pet bedding. When the Vet came out to check the foals, he was super impressed with the bedding, too. He had never seen it used to foal on before, and thought it was a lot cleaner and healthier for the foals. (Whew, it passed the vet check!) Now, many of the farms around us use it! My trainer even started using it for one of their horses that has severe allergies, and it has helped his skin problems.

Jennifer.

Dear Sirs,

I had the pleasure of meeting two of your reps at the Rochester, NY equine affair over the past weekend. I must say I was a little hesitant but I was totally fed up with the cost of and maintenance of conventional wood bedding. therefore with their guidance I purchased enough WoodyPet to cover two horse stalls 12 x 12 (10- 30 lb bags @ $3.85 ea) and went home to totally stripped and install WoodyPet that very same day!

It has been 4 days now and I am a confirmed WoodyPet customer!!!!! all your claims are true. The absorbency of your beautiful product is amazing. We have cut our daily stall cleaning to about 5-10 mins a day. As my 11 year old daughter exclaimed "look mom watch the wet spot disappear!!!!" and I might also add the disgusting ammonia smell is gone as well. I am spreading the word on this product to a few of our horsey friends that are building new barns. WoodyPet is a must if you like clean, sweet smelling, cost effective stall bedding and my horses love.

My Sincerest Thanks

Helena Bernard

I have been using Woody Pet for a while now and absolutely love it. I even did a test to see which lasted longer in a stall - Woody Pet or shavings. Within a week I was stripping out all the shavings and the Woody Pet was still going strong. My horses are turned out about 8 hours a day so my stall bedding lasts even longer than if they were in all the time. I just add a bag of Woody Pet about once every two weeks fluff the stall and it is just like new. It is by far the BEST bedding I have EVER used. I still have a half a truckload of shavings if anyone is interested...

Dear Dave,

Just wanted to let you know that I'm sold on this product!!! It has cut my clean out time in 1/2. I only have to take out 1/2 wheelbarrow load a day. My horse stays nice and clean and the barn smells great! It also helped clear up her thrush!

I'm asking other local stores to see if they would carry it.

Thanks again,

"I want to let you know how much we are enjoying your crumb-rubber footing! It has mixed well with the sand in our arena and has helped to keep the footing more consistent by alleviating the hard spots that we used to get. ... I am very glad to have found out about your product and been able to obtain it easily and in a timely manner. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and useful arena footing."

I just browsed thru your testimonial page. I wanted to let you know just how happy we were/are with the product. We started using it last November (7 months ago) in our mares stall she has mats down and is particularly messy.

She also has heaves. At the time we decided to keep her home all winter since she was already breathing too bad and could never survive a winter in a big barn. She gets a herbal remedy and Vit C but was also requiring her bronchodilator and we were going to have to start her steroids again. Not fun.

We put the woody pet in her stall and wet it down with a bucket of water to start activating it. About a week later I was remarking that she wasn't coughing. My husband who does the majority of their stall cleaning and feeding just laughed. He said she hadn't had her Brethine (bronchodilator) for several days! 3 days after starting the Woodypet he stopped giving her the pills. It's May now and she hasn't needed it all this winter. The $80 a month we spent on meds was appreciated but seeing her breath without straining was a blessing.

To be honest my husband and I don't agree on how much to recycle the product. He keeps it much moister than I do (I like the pretty light color) but the stall doesn't smell, her cough is gone, no more wheezing, cleaning is easier and the bedding is more cushioning than shavings were. All in all I try not to say too much since he cleans most often.

As others remarked too, it's nicer to have a little pile of bags than a huge stack of shaving bags let alone the sawdust pile. We had to drive about a hour and a half to buy it but it was worth it. Those 20 bags lasted quite a while.

Thank you so much

I was at the Mid-West Horse Fair in Madison, WI last weekend and I talked to you about the Woody Pet...I bought 5 bags and put them in one of my mares stalls. I just want to say that today when I cleaned, I couldn't believe what a difference it made!! First of all, when I walked into the barn this morning, it smelled very nice, and when I went into clean her stall it was so easy to clean! The poop stayed on the fork while the rest of the bedding just fell right through and the pee spot was all soaked up into 1 nice little pile...it was so easy and it didn't smell at all!! Except GREAT of course! When I put the Woody Pet in, I didn't put any lime down, I wanted to see if it would get rid of the smell...well it sure did! I had to clean the other 3 stalls that are bedded with regular shavings and it was a lot more work. When I was cleaning the stall with the Woody Pet, when I thought I was done, I was! Instead of when you clean using the shavings...when you think! you're done, you pull down some of the shavings and down roll some more "hidden treasures!" I can't believe how easy it was to clean using Woody Pet.

I picked some Woodypet up at Welch Feed and Supply (Agway) in Dover, NH. It is great stuff! I am using it in the litter box for my eight 4.5 week old Golden Retriever puppies. I was using shavings and they were everywhere and the box was a mess and the puppies were a mess. The Woodypet is so nice and tidy and the little buggers caught on to the new "potty" really quickly. The box and puppies are staying clean too! Woodypet is a great product and I will be recommending it to all my breeder friends as well as my puppy families who want to use this as part of their housebreaking.

Thank you for providing the info!

Thank you so much for the info. I am dealing with the Ephrata Agway and I wanted to let you know how helpful they were. Dave was the salesman I spoke to on the phone. He was really great! When we got to the store and asked to see the Woody in action he allowed us to visit the barn of one of the employees who uses it. That was invaluable in helping us to decide to purchase your product. Those guys deserve a gold star!!! I wanted to let you know that we are really happy with Woody Pet and it is thanks to the staff at Ephrata Agway.

Sincerely,

I just had to write to tell you how happy I am with the Woody Pet. I have to admit I was the most skeptical person on the planet, but was sold after using it just a few days! I don't have to tell you how it's cut down my manure pile, reduced ammonia (it's practically non-existent!) or cut my chore time in half. But I have told everyone I know! I think I have single handedly converted the entire NY Palomino Association into loyal users! Yesterday, I convinced another breeder to use it. She couldn't believe how clean my barn smelled! AS I sat there talking to her, I realized there hasn't been a single person I've talked to that hasn't switched to Woody Pet! -And I'm talking all over the country! Just wanted to introduce myself - New York's biggest promoter of Woody Pet! Wish I had stock in the company! Keep up the good work!

Well we tried it out on our Clydesdale horse of 9 months old, and I am very impressed, feathers are staying white, cleaning of the stall much easier, and Big Scott is cleaner. I am very impressed with your product, I feel cost will be less than straw and sawdust, the main cost is MY labor, less time in the stalls, more time to enjoy our animals!

January 7, 2002

I was introduced to your product at a horse trade show and I recently used your product. I bought a pallet and a fork just to try.

I have 2 Belgian draft horses (1 very messy gelding) and a pony. Previously I had to strip the gelding's stall every other day. Every time he laid down, he was wet and dirty. I was putting in over 2 wheelbarrows of sawdust every other day. Now there are almost no odors to my barn, with the exception of freshly sawn wood. The pallet takes up 1/5 the area of the former sawdust pile and the product is always dry.

The horses are always clean and dry. I am thrilled. Five bags lasted my gelding for about 10 days before I needed to put one more bag in. I am recommending it to all my draft horse friends.

Thank you so much.

I have used the Woody Pet thin tines fork two days now, and it is super! My Quarterhorse Sonny has made a career of creating a pig stye from a stall.

As a result, I have spent as long as two hours some mornings cleaning it. My Walking Horse Pro cannot compete with Sonny, but he is no slouch either!

With my new fork, it only takes me 30-45 minutes to get Sonny's stall really clean. It is like an early Christmas present!

I just thought you would like to be aware of the great outcome!

I have tried every brand of shavings that I could find in Ocala, FL and my 2 year old appendix gelding still urinated and rolled in it every time leaving him an awful smelly and wet mess to clean up each morning. Well, I picked up 15 bags of Woody Pet shavings from TSC in Ocala yesterday afternoon and rebedded one stall, his stall, to try it. Lo and behold, he was dry this morning and doesn't smell in the slightest!!! I am going back to TSC and loading up our horse trailer with Woody Pet shavings this weekend. I cannot tell you how excited I am to finally get up in the morning to a clean smelling appendix gelding! Your shavings are the BEST on the market and I will highly recommend your product to others.

Thank you,

HORSE, FARM AND STALL BEDDING IN AUSTRALIA

Well I can honestly say I never thought I would find myself making a testimonial for any horse product. After working with horses from the time I could walk I am the ultimate skeptic on any new boom products the market comes up with. From the show ring to being the first girl apprentice jockey in Australia in 1978 and race riding for 10 years I commenced training race horses here in Australia for another 10 years. My fortunate success found me in Singapore as an assistant trainer in a barn of 120 horses from 1998 to 2001. With a staff of 25 it was quite a job making sure all the horses were kept in the best conditions most importantly their boxes. The Singapore Turf Club allowed us to trial many types of bedding from all over the world until we found the most effective product to work with. As you can imagine we tried everything from rice husks to paper always going back to wood shavings but the smell was still hard to control. Stable coughs, thrush, skin reactions and maintenance were time consuming problems.

Last year the club delivered some pellets of Woody Pet from Canada. It came in small 15kg bags and looked like kitty litter. 10 bags they recommended for each box. We laughed at first as it only just covered the floor and our horses were used to 6 to 10 inches of shavings. Then the instructions were to hose it down to activate the bed. Add water to a box?? No way, but we did and couldn't believe how it reacted. It actually turned into lovely white shavings of pure pine that had never been treated with any chemicals so skin problems and stable coughs were out. They said leave the urine patches in and only pick up the droppings and turn the shavings over as you rake. 'Mmm this will last a week tops' we wagered but we were wrong, even after 6 weeks our boxes were extremely clean and we only added 1-2 bags each week. We sacked the grooms who weren't looking after their charges properly (a huge savings on wages) as we only needed half the numbers to do the boxes in quarter of the time. The owners commented on the fact that the smell had gone......and we were hooked. As much as I wanted to find fault with Woody Pet I couldn't.

Anyhow to cut a long story I came back home to Australia and took a great interest in studying the different bedding available here only to find this type of bedding was not available here. Until NOW!!

Following Eqitana at Melbourne in November Woody Pet will be available in Australia. At present there are 2 places trialing the bedding and the feedback is exactly as we found it in Singapore, America, England and Hong Kong where all the leading stables are converts. It reduces the risk of respiratory disease, reduces the source of bacteria and is much faster to muck out, horses coats are cleaner, it looks great and is easy to store. After all, the less time mucking out gives us more time to care for our individual horses.

So that's my story and I would not hesitate to recommend it to any horse person. Sports medicine and science are things we just have to keep up with if we are to stay ahead of the game. If you would like any information at all on Woody Pet please feel free to contact me. If I didn't believe in this I wouldn't waste my time or yours. They have a website which is www.woodypet.com or ring me.

Yours sincerely

March 2001

I wrote once after about 1 week of usage and felt I needed to write again after 4 weeks of usage just to confirm that product DOES work better than I ever thought possible.

I changed the 1st stall from shavings to Woody Pet and used 5 bags for a 9 x 11 stall. It expanded so much, I needed to take some out after 2 weeks which I dumped in my paddock area which is dirt. I picked and mixed the dry over wet everyday and was amazed that I only had to dump the wheelbarrow with just manure, every 3-4 days. This saves time and there is so much LESS waste. I did the 2nd stall 2 days later and used 5 bags again. After almost 30 days, I stripped the first stall and started with only 2 bags this time. It seemed to be the right amount but I feel 2-1/2 bags will work better. In that 30 days, I only added a total of 1 bag for each stall. It was more than enough. With 2 horses and Woody Pet in both stalls, the wheelbarrow got dumped every 2-3 days. Any product that became "heavy" was put out in paddock area. Even the barn cat likes the Woody Pet.

I believe the product works better than I anticipated and it does save time and cost compared to shavings. Horses seem to approve, even though they hesitated wetting the clean stall. That was just the first few minutes. If you want it to fluff right away, just sprinkle with water.

This sifter is unreal, I have never seen stalls so clean, and only the waste comes out of the stall. We have 30 stalls and on weekends I have help, I never feel they do as good of a job as I do, but now with the green machine I can even let my son do it without having to pick the stall all over. I can see why it will pay for itself. Plus not to mention how easy it is to use and not all that wear and tear on your body. It seems to me that everything you said about your products are true, thanks for bringing your products to my attention.

To whom it may concern,

I am a student at Olive Peirce Middle School in Ramona. We recently did our science fair projects. Me, owning a horse and having her stabled had the idea to compare three stall beddings for my project. The beddings I used were Woody Pet, Dry Stall and CedaRest. After conducting the experiment I found that Woody Pet passed the test with flying colors. I took a 1/2 cup of bedding and put it into a cup. I poured in 1 1/2 cups of water in with each of the beddings and let it sit for 10 minutes. Woody Pet absorbed 180mL (more than a cup of the water in with the beddings). CedaRest absorbed 330 mL and Dry Stall absorbed 352.5 mL (both of these absorbed almost nothing). Woody's Pet surpassed all of the beddings. I would like to compliment you on your excellent product. This product truly keeps horses safe and prevents thrush and other common diseases. Thank you very much!!

December 2000

Just to update you. I've been using the Woody Pet bedding for almost 2 months now and I love it. Even my husband thinks it's great. It's so much easier to clean than wood shavings and it's lasting much longer.

Great stuff.

December 2000

I just wanted to write on behalf of my mom. We have raised horse for over 20 years. I now live 300 miles away from my mom but you can be sure that when I go home for a visit, I go help take care of the stalls. This used to be something I hated to do, we have lots of very wet broodmares and cleaning stalls each night took forever. Then when I came home after my mom started buying "Woody Pet" I was amazed at how dry the stalls were. I didn't have to help strip stalls, I just helped to pick them out. My mom takes care of 15 horses by herself everyday. That's 15 stalls that one person has to keep up with on a daily bases. Your product has made this task so much easier. She takes care of stall work in half the time and her back isn't killing her when she's finished. Plus there is no "wet stall" smell to deal with.

Thanks again for coming up with such a great product!!!!

November 2000

Several months ago I encountered a representative of your company while we were both at the local equine veterinarian's office. We were discussing horses and horse management when they gave me a demonstration of your product. I was certainly interested in giving it a try.

I purchased 6 bags the following week and rebedded one of my stalls. This horse tends to have a particularly wet stall. I was pleased with the results with your product but not quite convinced that I should invest the necessary funds to rebed the remaining 5 stalls in my barn.

With much trial and error, I have finally found a suitable process, using your product, for bedding all the stalls in my barn. I use your product as a base with shavings over top. This works particularly well with the above mentioned gelding. My shavings last 2 weeks and I have not had to strip a stall to the bare floor since I started using your product. Also, the times it takes to clean my stalls has been cut in half. Oh, did I mention my manure pile is much smaller than in past years??? This is really important here in Florida with flies/bugs being a problem all year long.

I am extremely happy with your product. This is the first letter I've felt compelled to write to a company about a product that truly lives up to what it is advertised to do. My stalls are cleaner, dryer and fresher smelling at much less the cost than with any other stall products I've tried.

I have worked for an equine veterinarian, managed a hunter/jumper barn, managed a quarter horse show barn. I tell everyone how wonderful your product is. Thanks for making this product and please don't stop.

Susan Tighe

I am a veterinarian in Colorado Springs, Colorado. My wife shows four Arabian horses nationally. She takes care of her barn with no outside help. Therefore, we don't get as much "quality time" together as I would like. PLUS, when she is off to horse shows, guess who gets to clean stalls?

When our local feed store mentioned Woody pet I was intrigued. I was primarily interested in saving time with the task. I prepared a "test" stall and loved it. Clean, easy, fast and odor free bedding. My plan was to let Pat compare this stall with her other three with paper shavings. That didn't take long. After just a few days of her regular routine of cleaning the other stalls, then cleaning the Woody Pet stall - the decision was clear. We bought a pallet of the product and we are now an official Woody Pet Barn. Thank you for the time savings and for giving my wife and me an extra hour each evening!!

Mt. View Stables

I wanted to let you know how much we love your Woody Pet product for our horse stalls. The stalls with your product are so much easier to clean with no ammonia odor and very few flies. The other stalls with regular shavings don't soak up the urine as well and with pregnant mares there is a lot of it. Also, with your convenient bags , Storage won't be a problem. We have your product in matted stalls and stalls without and it works equally well. I can't wait to change the rest of our stalls to your product and neither can our stall cleaners, it is such a time saver and fewer loads to dump.

Thank you for introducing Mt. View Stables to your Woody Pet product.

Bobi Angelo/Jamie Angelo.

It is my pleasure to write and tell you how much I like this product for my stalls. I have been using it for 3 weeks now. I use it my goat pen, still no smell.

My young pinto colt comes in early so he won't sunburn, his stall is used twice as long as the others. Still easy to clean, no bad smell or strong ammonia odor. I clean only once a day, I do not think that I will ever have to strip my stalls again as long as I use this product. It is more cost effective, saves time on cleaning of stalls. Once you clean it and turn the bad over, make your stall level, you are done.

Sincerely,

July 28, 1998

I am writing you to thank you for introducing me to your new product. I have a stall that is 10X12, with a very messy gelding occupying it. I have had to strip his stall every other day. I put 5 bags of Woody Pet into his stall on the 10th of July. The product has been in his stall for almost 3 weeks, and still looks great. The ammonia is almost non-existent, and the stall is still very fluffy. I have had only very little waste and just the dumplings out of the stall daily.

I was skeptical about this new product in the beginning, but being a stable owner we try to find better, healthier and more cost effective products to better our stables. We are expecting to have a much better manure pile in the future. The stall is much easier to clean and saves us time and money in that aspect also. I am planning to switch from shavings to Woody Pet in the immediate future.

Sincerely,

Bette Mongillo
